Provident’s Strategic Sourcing program will help you assess your goals, business and economic risks; analyze the unit costs of goods/services; and evaluate the competitive supplier landscape. We then will use this information and data to structure RFIs/RFPs, conduct contract negotiations, and execute contracts and Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs). Packaging Optimization
Provident’s Packaging Optimization services include a full breadth of Packaging Engineering expertise from an extension of your existing PE resources, all the way to full outsourcing for all your PE needs. Our services include both Traditional Packaging Engineering, which covers everything from packaging innovation and ideation to structural design, testing and commercialization of new or existing product packaging; and Right Pack, which allows us to drive savings and sustainability improvements by harmonizing and optimizing the primary and secondary packaging in conjunction with the entire supply chain.

Provident is an authorized sales representative for SupplyTigers.com which is an online, Web portal designed to help companies control and reduce indirect supply costs by benefitting from pre-negotiated supplier agreements. This solution provides an opportunity for middle-market companies to gain the same level of cost savings as the largest organizations. It also provides insight, visibility and control over spend through delegation of authority and workflow approval processes for improved management of your indirect supplies.
The Total Package
The Total Package combines all the elements of Packaging Material Sourcing with Traditional Packaging Engineering and Right Pack. By doing this, we are able to help you: 1) Tightly integrate insights and decisions related to packaging material sourcing into the engineering process to improve material selection and yield the best supplier selection and pricing outcome (Sourcing); 2) Implement new packaging designs through technical/engineering support and testing (Traditional); and 3) move to the least amount of packaging material that can be used for any size product or volume and use this information to drive additional savings through the entire supply chain while reducing the overall carbon footprint and positively impacting sustainability initiatives (Right Pack).
